This is a diamond in the rough. If I was looking at this photo in a gallery, my eyes would simply skip over it. It really isn’t the most magnificent picture I’ve ever taken, but I chose it anyway. I really think that it’s the simplicity of it all that catches my eye. The chickens are having their day like normal. It isn’t flashy or out there, but it’s beautiful. This photograph reminds me of the simple things in life. It tells me to slow down and watch the chickens for awhile. That’s what makes this picture special.
