Today is my favorite song sung by a villain. This was impossible. I love the villain songs. They are always so entertaining. I finally settled on Gaston from the 2017 Beauty and the Beast. I love the way that Josh Gad kept enough of the original song to make it Gaston, but he also put his own spin on it.

Gaston (2017)
This song is fabulous. It’s all about Gaston, and yet we don’t get bored even after 5 minutes of it. There is an amazing dance break in the middle (with sword fighting!) that gives our minds a break as well.
“Who can make up these endless refrains like Gaston?”
It doesn’t get much better than this. The hero songs are about self-improvement, while the villain songs are about how amazing they are. It’s the perfect combination of giving children the want to improve, but also letting them know that it’s OK to know that they are wonderful too.
